I believe this is a new cloud formation called Asperatus.- See The Cloud Appreciation Society. Well spotted great capture.

Interesting...I had no idea! I actually have an interesting story about another cloud photo I took while visiting a friend in London. By chance I found a photo taken from pretty much within 1 block of where I was at exactly the same moment on the www. The chances that I would find this "twin photo" on the www are very slim, and the site I was looking at did not have anything at all to do with clouds...One in a million!
