I think this is some kind of Cricket making it's way into the flower of a Rhododendron. Any experts out there care to identify? I guess it would be easier if you could see it's face rather than it's backside![]()

This is a stunning macro shot, whatever the species.
I am presuming that this was taken in the UK so thought I would have a look in my Collins complete guide to British Wildlife,sorry mate but there is nothing in there like it,I put a photo of a Green Bush Cricket on my PF and although that was fairly heavily speckled on the legs it was not as much as yours,even if it is showing its bum its still a lovely shot,well done. ![]()
