The Main Divide of the Southern Alps as seen one morning from Mount Cook Village. On the left is Mount Sefton with The Footstool just to the right of it. Mount Cook can be seen in the far right.

The main strength of this photo is lost in the small version and that is the sharpness in the detail.

Am not keen on the orphaned snow on the right hand side as there isn't enough light on the upload slopes to lead you to it.

Thanks for the comments. I might try removing the peak on the far right and see how it looks.

Can we not mark the pro crit as helpful ? LOL I think he deserves a medal for this one Smile !

I'm inclined to agree with the Pro here, the element on the right is the only real problem in an unusually abstract landcsape that works well otherwies.
