The Mont Blanc Massif rising above Chamonix in the French Alps.

Taken from my hotel room in Chamonix on morning in July 2007.

I found this look whilst fiddling with layer options in Photoshop and I liked it. I created an adjustment layer to convert the image into B&W and changed the blending mode to 'Hard Light'.

I prefer the 1st one because it is the most dynamic. Would like to see it with a lighter frame though as it is difficult to see where the photo ends. For another blowy snow mountain scene have a look at mine from Champoluc in Italy this year.
