I like the image overall. I feel somethings funny about the 2 different cloud structures though. The contrast is really nice between the boat and sky.

Want to save time on the "camera warming up"? Put a plastic bag (bread sack or similar, turned inside out to rid the bag of crumbs) in your pocket to keep it warm. When done shooting in the cold, place the camera in the bag. Take it inside tighly wrapped. Camera bags are thicker and take longer for the camera to warm up. The bag will condensate on the outside keeping the camera safe from moisture. When the condensation disappears, the camera can be taken out.

Great image, all hands down! Its nice to know you keep your camera with you and ready. I noticed you said it is digital manipulated. Try shooting through a tissue to soften the shadows. If you carry your equipment in a bag and have the room, (and possibly a low budget) buy a bottle of isopropyl rubbing alcohol, dump it out and cut the bottle in half. The lower half will fit over most detachable flashes and works perfect as a softbox!

Tastefully done, I shoot alot of cars myself for a local hotrod magazine. I like the tone to the image.

Nice shot.....I took some images of one of these once and every time i kneeled to get a great shot he stuck out his wings and tryed to attack me....I did get off one good shot (of him attacking me!) It was on a farm and suppose to be tame. Looks like the wild ones are safer.

I too would clone out the planes vapor trail but if you dont know how to do that then another way around it would have been to through a small stone into the water close the end of the trail. This would maybe make it appear something saled through the sky and landed in the water. Just a thought. I agree with the hyperfocal distance as well. If you are not sure what that is, there is a new download available on this site that will teach you. Great shot!

The quality is great! It doesnt , matter which camera you use the results will be the same except for maybe larger printing files. The camera will do what you tell it to do, so 1 camera would be the same as the other. The lenses in this type of shoot makes the differance. I personally would try to be inside the turns instead of on the outside. This would show where the knee is so dangerously close to the ground, showing a bit more excitment. However, you do have a saleable image here. Very good show of motion and speed. Also I agree with Frank, he strikes a good point.....be different than every one else.

Very appropriate! It looks like an ornament. I love the droplet. Is this origanal or manipulated? I see no horizonal lines here though.
