I took this (and many more) photo when on a trip of a lifetime to visit one of the wild gorilla colonies in the Virunga National Park in Rwanda, an awesome experience that will remain with me for the rest of my life. This is a young male whom they say must be 'handsome' as he has 'stolen' some of the lady gorillas from nearby colonies to start his own family group, which at the time consisted of 13 gorillas at the time I visited.

What a great experience. I've seen tigers in India and lions in Africa, but not large primates - yet! I'm looking forward to more of your shots.
