Whilst looking at deer in a field, I realised my Sigma 105mm macro lens didn't quite have the reach i would have liked to have photographed them... ... so during my frustration, I noticed from the corner of my eye a movement on the fencepost i was standing near. I decided to put the macro lens to some good use and captured this ladybird, still carrying droplets of water from the rainfall an hour or so earlier.
