Evening all. Stuck out some strawberries that had seen better days. Even the birds don't want them Sad. Maybe think they are going to be forced to watch tennis or some other lousy sport if they eat them TongueGrin. Thanks for C&Cs on previous upload.

Wonderful Moira, great capture. Perhaps if you had put cream with them they would have gone in seconds SmileSmileSmile

If you left the strawberries much longer the wasps would make short shift with them.
A rather different sort of bird table shot, the bird still having a fairly broad choice for it's repast.
Very nicely captured, Moira.
Ronnie.

A rather extravagant evening snack, Muesli and Strawberries, how very posh. "I had to make to with a boiled egg and a cup of tea?" SmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

it's quite a comical look on the bird's face! What's missing is the cream for the strawberries. These birds are fussy you know!!

You should have stuck out some bacon rind Moira.
These strawberries are only for these posh birds at Wimbledon !!
Good shot.

I just love the colour contrast between the subtly coloured bird and those garish strawberries.

Blackbirds are quite keen on fruit thats going a bit soft. Unless of course you but out some cut apple for them and they studiously ignore it.
