Afternoon all. This unfortunate chap parked his bike where he shouldn't have. This has resulted in a ticket from a traffic warden. He will be waiting for the owners of the other bikes to appear too.
I was going to post this shot as a Silly Sunday shot yesterday, however the more I looked at the poor cyclist, the less inclined I was to find anything funny about the shot. The receiving of a parking ticket is obviously a great source of humilation and shame for the man. Look at his body language and his stance. He is moving his feet like a naughty child. This shot actually speaks to me about the Japanese culture as a whole. A race of people who take a great pride in their country and themselves as individuals.
Thanks for C&Cs on yesterday's upload.

I'm not saying I agree with the photo content! but respect is some thing that appears to have gone out the window here in the U.K. but! does seem a bit harsh for parking a bike! wonder how much the fine would be!, good job they did not tow it away!, regards Leon.....or clamp it!GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin good clear crisp photo.

This is brilliant street photography Moira we know from history that the Japanese are a brutal people but highly disciplined and easy shamed so he would stand there
and take it from the warden and look very ashamed.
