Morning all. This blackbird keeping a wary eye on me as he edges closer to the seed scattered around. My husband's rusty shovel and fork dumped where he left them last week - supposed to be digging me a vegetable patch where the old dog run was. Note the string marking it out - that is as far as he has got! Maybe the blackbird will do it. Thanks for C&Cs on yesterday's upload.

My husband also uses coloured string to edge his plots and the blackbirds often mistake it for worms and try fling off with the ends ![]()

Lovely clear capture Moira ![]()
A fine specimen. I used to use that nylon twine for marking out beds but the foxes take great delight in biting it apart!!

I think you have a thoughtful caring husband Moira.
He is leaving the fork and shovel there for another 6 months,
to gather more rust for a nice rusty upload.
Get of the poor mans back !!
(Although what the pair of you get up to,is none of my business really !!)
Mick.
Lovely blackbird and evidence of husband's incomplete labours here. Hire a pig Moira. That will do the digging for you and fertilise the ground at the same time.
A lovely capture of this lovely chappie, Moira...look forward to seeing him digging the garden! ![]()

Moira this is a lovely image !!! I watched a prog on t.v. about HRH's Highgrove and the gardening implements get cleaned and oiled everyday after use. Would love to do the Birnam walk with you- my walking ladies do just that and don't linger .There was another keen potographer there too but I could have spent ages looking at things in more detail !!!
