one week on from my last fly agaric capture, i went back to the same location to see the growth of the smaller mushrooms. but all the musrooms had been battered from the recent rain and winds. but not far from this location i found another single fly agaric mushroom.
this type of mushroom really is not the best type to photograph because they all grow on the ground floor in dense woodland.
this image had to be retouched in photoshop because there was alot of dirt on the cap and stem. i didnt want to risk picking the dirt off with my gloves on because of fear of damaging the mushroom.

tripod, reflector, cable release, and seagull angle viewfinder all used
ISO 100
ex comp -2
shutter spd 1/6
aperture 9.0

Camera:Canon EOS 350D

Love the depth of field and low viewpoint of this. The -2 exposure comp. really does give it that dark damp woodland feel.
Well done.
