Just hope he gets home intact, his saddle bags are bulging. Lots of bees about at the moment, more than I've seen for ages.
Which can only be a good thing.

Even the bees are getting their yellow clobber on for the Tour de yorkshire
Excellent capture Peter. After all the talk of declining populations it's good to hear
there are still plenty of bees around.
A fine picture of this hard worker!
Absolutely fabulous Peter, a super capture of this busy bee
Super capture Peter. I love bees, good job no one around when I plant out my window troughs, I have a cotoneaster and it's usually full of them about three in he's away from me, so I talk to them. (Mad woman!). I love the sound of bees buzzing, completely different from wasps.
Hmmm? caan he still fly?
never seen these saddle bags.. thanks for bringing in.. and a lovely image too..
Yes , overload it is . Hope that the flight back home is safe , and the landing happy ! - A great catch , Peter! --- Jukka.
Great shot of the busy bee, saddle bags and all. Nice DOF so as not to blind out the background.
Wonderful Peter, its good to see lots of bees, plenty again this year, I planted seeds that they like, we should all have a little patch for them to work away on
Couldn't get to comment on this earlier, as just after commenting on your previous upload EPZ ground to a halt! A super close-up, Peter, when I've tried to photograph bees they won't stay still long enough!
Lovely shot. Well timed.
A great capture Peter.
A well captured image Peter. We have lots of bees this year too.
A delight to see...
Hope it doesn't have to pay any duty on that huge amount of hand luggage
Great detail, so good to see them doing well.
A terrific capture of this bee who has been so busy on that beautiful bloom.
I can't say I have seen many down here in Cornwall, just lots of horse flies, that bite!
Never seen this with the naked eye
Just a little greedy thing!! Great picture tough.
Great shot Peter. He is certainly overloaded. He must have been doing overtime! Cathy
Amazing. He might need a bit of a lie down later.
I don't like bees Peter,
ever since I knocked over my beer
while trying to get the one that was buzzing around my head !!
I've never seen such a pollen load.
Love bees and have seen lots around the garden this year.
In fact we had a bumble bee colony in our bought box, but sadly the wax moths spoilt it
half way through the season.
We will try to exclude the deadly moths next season with an added 'bee-flap' over the entrance.
