Lovely shot. Really interesting to see how well a close up CAN be taken with a 100-400 lens.
I am interested that you used extension tubes - I must research this. Thanks for the inspiration.

Mike Exten/tubes are good to use for a close up scene... with Butterflies/dragon flies...winged bugs , helps to get a good background... etc...thx :0)..!!..

Hardly ever think of using extension tubes with digital Nikii, always used them for my close-ups with my OM2. A lovely composition & soft background . Would make a delightful card xx
