The climb to this spot outside Ardara in Donegal was easily a mile if not more, and a fair hike at that! The view was spectacular though and the little tarn just added a bit of interest, the beach is Maghera Beach - there are nice caves on the beach too so a beautiful spot for sure. Thanks for checking out my pic! Smile

Wow Kerrie-Anne, you really get around. This is one of may fave areas of Donegal, Maghera beach is sublime, but never seen it from this viewpoint - lovely

(just being a bit picky, Maghery beach is up nearer Dungloe)

Donegal is in my opinion the prettiest county in Ireland, but I did spend much of my teenage years up there every weekend so I got to see a lot of it. A lovely shot.
