The original idea for this came from a project I was working on which required a photograph to illustrate an article about social networking. They liked the idea, but I was never quite able to get a result I was happy with at the time.

Personally I think it's a bit too soft although the overall depth of field is always going to be (and was always intended to be) insanely tight and out of my control. Some of that softness comes from the fact this was also shot handheld, which I intend reshoot incorporating the benefit of some critique.
