Thanks Derek. The histogram looks fine, though i do sometimes auto-level to 0.1% By: monstersnowman |
Lovely pano style with nice glorious but gentle colour. Personally a tiny bit more space between the right boat and edge would be even nicer but still definately beautiful. By: phil99 |
Storm Stroller - other version Great drama in the clouds, good composition and a nice sense of scale with the lone figure .. By: Draig37 |
Yep, route one .. Lol ... Went out and only took one so its ok for a hit or miss chance with a basic camera. By: monstersnowman |
Yes, the camera gives some reasonable results if you don't want big prints ... The camera on the iPhone is a lot better though. I am actually holding an exhibition next year that features images taken with and edited on the iPad. It's good fun. By: monstersnowman |
Really nice to hear from you Ron. Been in a bit of a photographic hiatus for some time ... The quality isn't good from my ipad but I like the colour and texture of these objects :0) I could photograph them all day long. By: monstersnowman |
Nicely processed as always. By: Rarindra |
I like the well exposed simplicity of v3 .. v1 just lacks a little more light on the head as the white breast dominates a little. By: jeb2012 |
Thanks for the commennts :o) By: monstersnowman |

Lovely tranquil scene .. the yellowy golden colour is great By: running_man |
A lot of nice elements to the image. Nice thirds composition all round. Nice colours and f/g interest .. By: brzydki_pijak |
Having not read the other comments my critique would be .. the converging lines of the centre of the curved bars would look great in the centre in my opinion ... so to achieve this a lower perspective and a slight move to the right. Then making sure the distance from the top and the sides of the bars to the image edge is exactly the same all round to reinforce the uniformity .. I think this slight adjustment in viewpoint would tie in all the lines that would lead you to the image centre and strengthen the image slightly. Hope this is helpful critique. P.S. the mono is good .. is focuses your view on the pattern rather having an added distraction of colour. By: Bungabelandajr |
Great freezing of a moment .. I maybe would have liked the simplicity of a closer detailed shot of just one but on the other hand the variation of colour adds to this. Well done. By: jonah794 |
Beautiful rugged scene. Would love to visit Scotland to see scenes like this. By: Skinz |
Yes the ram's horn cane is awesome .. By: monstersnowman |
Lovely surreal look .. By: dogfish64 |
Thanks for the comments .. there is something about meaningful candid street shots that seem more powerful than anything you set up - he just appeared and did all the work. By: monstersnowman |
Yes beautiful .. gets my vote :o) By: jeanie |
Hi Joosie, in terms of wanted critique I would slightly rotate the image a degree or two clockwise because whilst it may be straight the waterline on the bank in the distance gives an ever so slight feeling of tilt .. and I would crop out the foliage at the bottom - leaving you with a cleaner more pano style shot and no distraction from the foliage that is there as a distraction but adds little. Nice scene .. I like how the outcrop on the mid left is highlighted by the sun. By: joosie |
Thanks for the comments .. By: monstersnowman |
