Taken on Southport Pier in August ... the overcast day made the colourful deck chairs stand out and the brisk wind caught the fabric of the chairs making them an interesting focal point. Having taken the image the mono conversion looked slightly more interesting. ND Grad Cokin filter used to add impact in the sky aea.

Ahh, the British summertime. Loving this shot, the lonley deckchairs, angle of the boards, the clouds, tones and the only people present congregated in one spot. All these elements come together extremely well.

Congrats on the HC.

Simply outstanding, Paul. Everything's absolutely spot-on, but the billowing of the deckchair material is the icing on this wonderful cake.

Excellent. Your b/w photography is superb.

Cool, it's fresh. Like yore' actually in the foto.

Thanks chris, very much appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to make several comments. I really should put more up, as I have hundreds and hundreds wafting round my hard drive just waiting for a critical failure lol ;0)
