Great shot, looks spot on to me, depends what effect you were wanting to achieve, the main object is in focus and the background looks great. The only thing i can suggest is to play around with your Fstops (i usually use about f9) this takes the background out nicely, the shutter speed depends on the light mainly for me (although it tends to be slower with higher F stops) time of day plays a great part and if the sun should shine!
