Hi all, managed to get out today in between the showers and ended up at Stanley Park in Blackpool. Managed to snap this little dragonfly, not the greatest background I know and not the sharpest shot but I am pleased I managed to get one. Not sure what that is on his eye though, is it part of his eye I wonder,(checked lens no marks) haven't got another shot face on so can't compare. Roll on that Macro lens fingers crossed it comes before weekend

Beautiful macro shot. Superb depth of field and stunning detail. A lovely well composed shot.

A great shot similer to mine ! you been anywhere near Blackpool today lol ?

Brilliantly caught - the only improvement I can think of is getting it perched on a leaf!! It's eye is okay, it's just a catchlight, if you really don't like it, zoom in really close and gently clone it out (although I would still keep the catchlights on the top of the eyes).
