Hi all, well after the long wait for the Macro lens to turn up it has done nothing but rain this week. So, what to photograph, the kids laugh and go back to the computer, the cats will not pose, I can't even find a fly on the window.

Flowers, way out of my comfort zone, never really thought about taking shots of them before, now I know why. I think it was easier trying to get a hover fly the other day. There really is so much to think about, bring back the wings I think I prefer birds.

Here is my first, (well not really the first of course i think this showed as 345 on my camera) the first I was happy with. Would really appreciate any advice/tips, if the weather is anything to go buy i'll be doing this all week. Smile

Excellent work Liz, it looks well against the black background, it's got good detail in the centre and good colour. Well done. (Watch Dave, he'll be pinching your b/ground cloth.) Smile
