I spotted these tiny fungi on a tree stump yesterday, hope it appeals

Wonderfully textural - really like the dark tones and colours in this one.

I thought they were molluscs from the thumb nail..brilliant textures, and dark colour tones... Superb
Love this, I used to hunt for these in the New Forest, with their colourful bands, so beautiful.
Like graham I was thinking of seashells. Or fish scales!
