An interesting and so very well observed set of images linked together perfectly. For me the image which stands out amongst the threesome is that of image number two. Not only had it been very well observed and captured, but it has been very well composed, exposed and processed. The monochrome processing bringing out the finest detail hidden within the silty beds and rusting hulks, whilst at the same time the light plays a crucial and brilliant role in this great riverside production.

Regards Nathan.

P.S. It was great to meet up with you and your very good lady yesterday, and I hope that we can get together again.

I won't add to what the pontificators above have observed, only say that finding the right background for several images is very tough which is one of the reasons why I do my own faux mounts. I like all three images, V1 for its jolly summer postcard look, V2 for the moody monochromatic feel, and V3 (my favourite) for the laid back moggy.

Beautiful rich colours, perhaps make a suggestion to the moderators about different b/g's on the same set!
V1 is my choice but would be interested, is this straight from the camera or did you tweak the colour Dave? Or is your Canon to take the crest alongside the photographerWink of courseWink the Nikon does over expose I have to change the exp comp by 0.3 sometimes 0.7 but not often! The Panasonic I can't get the exp right and have to tweak on PS

Unfortunately neither John nor I had our cameras (totally unheard of)!!! I love the trio, but my firm favourite is V1 GrinGrinGrin
