Branched oyster mushroom
round and oval caps which are creamy brown and darker coloured in the centre
usually found on dead elm or beech trees. we found this on a dead trunk of a tree not sure which one.
they are edible , they are tougher and less tasty than the oyster mushroom.
the stem is attached nearer to one side of the cap and is almost cover by continual off white gills they fork and reunite over stem to produce many as it's base
