Thank you for your votes and comments over the last few days. I caught up with them all yesterday and voted /commented back. My Internet seems to be working OK now.

I have been playing with my camera and macro settings on it.
As it's been raining heavy outside it's not been a great day to go out.

I set my camera to super macro and with the lens zoomed as far as I needed and as close to the window as possible ,I angled my camera for a great capture of raindrops .

V2 will show you the original capture. as you can see it's a very grey day outside.I have done nothing to V 2 it is as captured.

I played about with V1 using Gimp

I have used the gradient tool and render pattern to create my image.

If you have never used Gimp before. download it's free. add your photograph and have a play about find all the settings. play with different ones. get used to what each do. then when your ready your be able to make your creative photographic art master piece GrinGrin
If you do something wrong. it can be corrected just click on edit and undo. it will take you to the last step you where on before you messed up.
when your ready to save image. save as a new image then you will not save over your original photograph.

Have fun , let the creativity flow.

Like the spectral toning in V 1, Zoe: suits the subject matter nicely.
