I'm impressed you had the patience to make so many! Although I've worked with children all my life patience for those fiddly art activities was not my strong point! I really like both the flowers and the photo, a different perspective!

Thank you all for the lovely comments GrinGrinGrin

I am surprised the flowers look so real in the thumb nail Smile

Maggie they can be fiddly to make . but I tried to keep as simple as possible .I taught my Niece's , their younger sisters and friends how to make these as well. sadly they are older end of teenage years now and no longer in to craft making. At one point I had about 6 children in my tiny flats front room making these bouquets for mothers day gifts. some of the friends where boys.
They made mothers day cards to go with them. They used to make every year when younger. the mum's and grandmothers loved them as they where made from the heart by their children.
My grandmother taught me. she loved teaching us children to make things. she also loved the made gifts more as she always said they came from the heart rather than a shop brought gift.

Thank you for your lovely comments.

No Ava I do not teach. I used to be a activities co ordinator in a elderly residential home. I made activities up to keep the elderly occupied, tried to help them over come boredom, I used to have quite a few enjoy what we showed them. I was taught a lot of these things from my grandmothers. When I was growing up we never heard of a computer they where not about till the last year of my schooling .
my grandmothers used to like us children to keep out of trouble so taught us how to make various things and be creative. Which I believe is missing these days. So If I can help inspire others to use the creative skills they have I am happy. Smile Smile
