Reworked an image I uploaded before joining e2, don't think the 500 pixels did it justice. Scanned from film, and tidied up in CS2, changed the crop from the original I used.

great clarity and stiking composure.. the orange eyes contrast strongly with the green of the background and seems to mute all the other colours.. birds aren't my think.. well not this kind anyway.. but this is really good.

Hi Phill, just looking at it I see what you mean, its like a darker area in the background, just noticed another one on near the post too.
Hmmm may take a look at the negative just in case it wasn't as clean as I thought when scanning

Very nice clear shot. The green perch looks artificial (sorry if it's not). This pic reminds me I have some shots of Eagle Owls, a European and an Indian (is that the same as a Bengal, I don't have my books toi hand at the moment, anyhow) filed away somewhere.
