this is a Bengal eagle owl called Billie, saw him at a recent birds of prey demonstration.I have cloned out the leather straps from his feet

Fantasticly clear - very well taken - and great PS work, you wouldn't have known. DOF is spot on and those eyes are great!
Not sure about the border though - I find it a bit distracting for such a great photo.

Wonderful capture, the eyes are really impressive. Nothing to say about sharpness or depth of field, it's perfect.
Just one little thing about composition: as the bird is looking to the left, maybe it should have been placed a little bit more on the right side of the frame. But it was perhaps not possible?
