This is a Blue Tit that has been gentically modified to look like a Robin, so no comments like "not another bl**dy robin" please. this is an extremely rare bird and I expect people to have respect for this capture.
Taken this afternoon on my favourite twig, while the sun was shining, had to blur the background because the sky was extremely bright through the foliage and very distracting.

Hi Mo,this is the first gm blue tit i have ever seen,really rare and so he should be dealt with with reverance.Excellent title,dof,exposure and large or small he is still stunning.Take care.AnnSmile

Wish I could get such clarity. Guess that's what I get for being twenty or thirty feet away, no tripod, etc. A wonderfully detailed shot, Mo.

Thanks for your recent comments on my stress shots. I did try some water in one of the plastic cuvettes('more stress')as you suggested, it did seem to make a slight difference, but I was frightened I spilled water on my light box. I am putting a fuller explanation of how I do it on my next upload.

I like the pose, the clarity sharpness and gd. D.O.F. amazingly good robin, nice light in eye. All robins look different. They all have charm, this one is no exception, but I did enjoy the description ha ha.,
