LOL@Jouko, you should be very proud, well done to you guys!
Great piece of photography Mo, Well done..
hi Mo I've heard of Stone Roses but........Lol
Disgusting.. Get away from me.. 29 clicks.. Euuugh.. 5 ;o)
Aha, finally the right time and place to be #30. This is amazing. You have done a great job with this. There are so many possibilities here. LOL - Is that lighthouse next??
Thanks again guys, really happy you liked it.
Keith LOL, didn't have a decent shot of a rose to try it one.
Thanks Patrick, there's an Idea wouldn't look at Jouko's comments yet, he is bathing in the glory of another Finnish Victory LOL
Well, I'd be crying in my beer but I'm at work and plus the odd group of guys they got for the US team was hard to root for anyway. Hockey has lost popularity in the past few years because of strikes and greed! And then they wouldn't even pay for plane tickets or hotels for the US tram members! It's definitely not like in 1980 when the amateur US team beat the Soviet Union.... those were the days! LOL - So I'll let Jouko bask in his glory for now!
Used to paint things like this in the 60s (when I was at school). Showing my age now. Nicely constructed Mo
This has been nicely done - I keep playing with displacement maps from time to time but not achieved anything as good as this.
i like it mo it looks really kool. but as soon as i opened the thumbnail and saw it big i have to admit i was maybe even a tad disappointed...it looked so great in the thumbnail but then the brick work just looked too fake. an image of an actual wall with more tonal range would really improve this i feel, or experiment with other things, maybe newspaper...regardless this is brilliant technique and i'm commenting more on personal taste. very good touch mo
Excellent work Mo , clever stuff .
Superb work. Works really well for me.

Mo great imagination and love the idea behind it!
Great idea, brilliantly executed, well done Mo.
(I've been checking in my gardening book and I reckon from the detail in the petals it should be a HOUSE plant not an outdoor variety LOL)
Woe there Mo! Your digital houdini's are simply wonderful! Nice work..
Excellent stuff Mo, I've done quite a lot of work with 3D rendering packages and used some fancy texture, but to produce this from a 2D photo is quite impressive.
great title, a very clever manipulation Mo, I love the different angles of pattern on each petal, it works really well,
How clever and effective!
Another fantastic mainipulation work, well done!

Very effective. Displacement maps are something I haven't got round to trying myself.

VERY clever and very well done. -=Walter
So love this too .... Mo I have a disc here with this effect to do ... but they show it with an apple .. and to be honest ... it just didn't appeal to me ..... never thought of using it on a flower! An excellent idea that works brilliantly! Think I might go play with that now! LOL!Click*
