A special morning with a magic mountain. I added the 10 stop as the light broke through and began to creep across, then cursed myself for not having two tripods.

A beautiful shot, the warmth of this sunlit mountain contrasting so well with the cool blues throughout the rest of the scene.
I have seen images by another member from the Lofotens but in a winter setting.

It was indeed a magic mountain. I have never seen such light before and using the Big Stopper an inspired and brave move as there was no guessing how long those colours would last.

good thinking about 2nd cam and tripod while using the big stopper cos you have such a limited opportunity with the light. beautifully done.lesley
