I understand why you have included so much of the sandy foreground with the footsteps in the sand - however I feel you have an even better composition with much of the foreground cropped to bring the figures on a third.

lovely image with sentiment and pull on the viewer but for me the blurring of the edges is alien to the image and looks very odd ~ First impressions of the edging were Clone marks?
A crop of the edge would greatly improve an already fine Image....
