I created this photo for a competition at work the celebrate Liverpool Capital of Culture.

The photos were taken over several months this year. The people and Tall Ships were from 21st July, the QE2, Liver Building, museum and fire works from from the QE2's visit the other month.

I copied some of the fireworks from one of my other photos and made it a wallpaper then added the parts of the other photos. I showed the building of the new museum to show all the current building work that was going on in Liverpool during this special year.

I was going to add so other construction photos but I thought it would have become too busy.

Any comments/critique welcome, thanks for looking.

I like the fireworks in the background that connects the different pictures together. But maybe it would have worked better if the edges of the pictures were a bit softer? Just an idea...
