Taken this morning at Dunham Massey when Ian was chatting with Mark - not knowing there was a stag waiting its photo to be taken Smile

I know this may be a little over exposed as I had my camera set to +1!!

I like the colours in this and his reflection in the water.

Not much done to this other than sharpening and the curves altered.

Good to see you all today, it really was worth getting out of bed early!!

Any C/C welcome.

Robbie

Cracking reflection Robbie. For a first attempt at wildlife photography I think this is pretty good (certainly better than I managed on my first attempt and some would say ever since)

This is a great capture, love the reflection. Does not matter it is a little over exposed, you still got a beauty.

lovely composition Mrs Mad, done a wee mod for you,

Created a new layer, graduated layer black at the bottom, white at the top, set layer to overlay, adjusted the opacity till it sort of balanced the top and bottom of the image. Flattened it, image adjusted, using brightness and contrast, dropped the brightness down, and the contrast up a touch. Levels, and hey presto. i think that was all, lol.

'tis a pity it's overexposed, but hey, the composition is spot on. As Anthony has proved, the result can be tweaked and improved ... but you can't do owt with the shot if the comp is naff to begin with Smile

Hope you enjoyed it,
Paul

It is a great shot - and he is surrounded in a beautiful scenery! Do you shoot in RAW? That way it is easier to adjust the exposure (I really love it that I can change my mind, again and again - over the exposure when we get home!)
Uploaded a Mod too.
Like it how you have used the colours - beautiful!

Thanks for the mod.

No I don't use RAW at the moment - should do though - perhaps one day soon.

The colours were good there - shame I had the wrong setting on my camera.
