Hi all, hope you are having a good Monday.
Another one from Happisburgh when a fun time was had by all - - especially me! It was great fun splahing around in the surf (well - for those of us in wellies and waterproofs
) and not just witnessing but hearing the power of water. The sound as it hit the bases of the sea-defences was almost deafening, and then the clatter as the waves washed back out over the pebbles. It was rather fun trying to keep your tripod steady in the backwash! ![]()
The light was nice, just backlighting the splash and catching the edge of the groynes, which are H-U-G-E !!!
Hope you like it - - will try to catch up in the various Galleries tonight and tomorrow. Thanks, as always, for looking ![]()
Cheers!
Fran x

Beautiful tones and colours - the right moment captured here.
Phil.
You've caught some amazing patterns in the water. Lovely.
Brett
Tremendous capture, Fran.
I reckon this is a serious contender for best in PF - all depends on what's coming tomorrow!
Really well done, indeed!!
Bill
Wow, that really is a cracker. Love the movement and light. Well done, and sounds like it was great fun. Seems ages since I was in the sea - must get back down there soon. Thanks for the inspiration.

Not so much fun trying to stop your house falling into it!!
It is a wonderful location but I wonder for how much longer? The "great wall of Happisburgh" is keeping some sea at bay but not for much longer. You've definitely caught the power of the waves here Fran. Wonderful dramatic scene and some cracking tones.
Paul

came back with the award, cant find one better, its pretty special with the light thro the wave, the timing, exceptional composition and feeling of drama, almost like being in the water there with you, the colours are pretty subtle too and the overall quality make it my favourite this year so far.
Phil
Wonderful timing, excellent shutter speed for it. Well done indeed on this beauty.
Breathtaking, fab colours.
Thanks for the warm welcome msg.
Have a good weekend.
Wow! Such a strong image, the slow shutter speed demonstrates the raw power of the ocean. Excellent! ![]()
The texture of this is just immense. I love the palette of it too. Amazing.
Just stumbled accross this Fran, superb! Don't know how I missed it last year, must have been away.
Darren.
