Norfolk is wonderful, it's a sort of alternative reality just vaguely connected to the normal world. This was the big news story, it even dominated local TV news. I liked the dogs' reaction, they don't seem over keen on her.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Pure Norfolk, reminds me of the first week I moved here the headline on the front of the local paper was 'Jacket found'.. The story was a jacket had been left in a pub. That was it. Marvellous!

To be fair, it isn't just Norfolk. A front page story in our local rag last year concerned a lady whose new blouse had ended up in a charity bag by accident. It was considered so important that it was included in the End of Year round-up...
Cheers everyone, and a Very Silly Sunday to you.

This is Cromer. I think Sheringham considers itself too cultivated for smells, doesn't it?

Very good spot! I like using advertising or headline imagery in my images occasionally as it sets a theme- love this image and have to wonder what the first smell the lady had? Anyway, fine humour photograph and credit for the low angle and content within the scene

Living without the sense of smell for so many years must be awful. I find the ambiguity of the headline language of the press quite amusing. A very nice brilliant humorous shot, Moira!

By the way, just to let you know, I thank you for the suggestion about my photo, I did as you said, and uploaded it as another version together with its conversion.

A belated thanks to everyone who has called in here this afternoon/evening. And also rather belatedly I should add that the lady regained her sense of smell while grating lemons. Which I guess answers some of the questions above.
