I had been going to spare you more Jubilee uploads, but I do like this batch. Nearly a week ago already...

V1 is ear-marked for the town's 2013 calendar;
V2 – Spam in the kitchen;
V3 – The Ovingham Players;
V4 - The Dragon Tale Theatre Group; Wendy (the Queen of Hearts) will be carrying the Olympic Torch through the town next weekend;
V5 to V8 – Pretty well self-explanatory, I think..
V9 – What's the collective noun? A vocation of priests?
V10 – Songs of Praise in the open air;
V11 – Going home; this one is now in the Beeb's Jubilee Gallery at number 9, see here.
V12 – The last of my Majesty series – real life presents such interesting juxtapositions.

Incidentally I asked for parents' permission to photograph the children, mentioning that pictures might be published (quite a few of these have gone to the sponsors' PR people); nobody objected. The world isn't quite as mad as some folk make out.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Lovely title, a great set of shots! As Walter says, they "caught the spirit of their fun" and of the occasion. I especially like the ones related with children.SmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

Much better than on tv. The real life of the celebration!
I had wondered how it was for the majority.
Glad you found the rus among the roses, I wondered if you or mickmwould spot it Smile

Brilliant! I love #5 - the happy, playful kids on the swing.

A smashing happy set Moira, always good to see people having fun, and better still, recording the event in Photographs.

An excellent set, broad ranging but capturing those moments, Number 5 if I had to pick one, but I also like No 11 - the parent and boy walking away from the camera (and hopefully a memorable day). Chris

A very colourful and extremely varied set of images documenting the occasion, all are so quintessentially British and a number typify the British sense of humour
