Père Lachaise cemetery again. A while ago I uploaded an image of the little chapels that mark many of the 19th Century family graves - stone cubicles, each with a grilled door, a window, a ledge for flowers. Here are some more. Peering inside they can look a bit like antiquated lift shafts to the afterlife...
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Now these are really hard to choose between Moira. v1 just jumps out as a thumbnail because of the colour and is probably my favourite. Your dof on each is spot on Moira, and each one fits the subject very well indeed
Helen
All 3 beautifullt composed and cropped to maximise the effect. I'd go for V1 as the splash of colour works so well with the iron railings.

Mick, the map location is shown above, you could spend a month in this place without getting bored!
Thank you everyone, I'm amazed at how this set has taken off. To be honest I think V2 is my favourite but I was worried that it might be too dark.
Flowers tomorrow, then I'll give you a break from cemetery shots.

V1 is just perfect for me
Cant wax lyrical about it.
It is just right
Three superb images, sorry cant pick a favorite, they are fantastic.

Great set Moira, lovely detail, especially in V3, but V1's my fave...the way you've thrown the background out of focus really makes the ironwork stand out, looks almost 3D.

Thanks to everyone who has called in here today. I'm just back from a day walking along Hadrian's Wall, foot-sore and cream-crackered, but it's been good. I'm now aiming for a shower and a lot of tea!
Moira

Excellent work Moira, quelle surprise v3 is Mikbee's favourite
Three great shots Moira, I love 1&2 especially. So well seen and composed,
Chris.
No contest, V1 is very special, with the colours behind the ironwork, the perfect dof and the way you've got the figure between the ironwork at the bottom.
Excellent images Moira, like the rust details and each has its own personality...so to speak.
Tom.
