This is the final upload from the Hexham Morris dance-out. I'm delighted by their reception on EPZ, as it's a slightly esoteric activity (and I couldn't persuade any of them to pose nude...)
By this time, darkness had fallen. The dancers had packed up and were supping their ale, but the Fool sat quietly in a doorway.
His work was done, he had tripped the dancers up, embarrassed spectators and terrified several passing motorists. Now he sat, thinking Fool-ish thoughts...
There's not much detail, just the glow-in-the-dark shirt, but I like the 'sad clown' feel.
You can catch these characters Saturday afternoon (16 June), at Ovingham Goose Fair, in the Tyne Valley, subject to the weather.
