Thanks for Clicks and comments yesterday - they were much appreciated
I am returning to the gardens in Kings Heath Park for today's upload.
v2 is with the greenery through the archway.
v3 is the view behind the wall
Version 1 for me Helen...lovely!
Same for me Helen, love how you have the Crocosmia 'Lucifer' (its the only plant I know got obsessed with it) coming into the image. Lovey composition.
Interesting abstracts, with orange on orange, V1 for me also, Helen.
Thanks John and Ray
Superb images Helen. V1 for me also
I must be doing something wrong I have toggled between 1/2 and they both look the same to me with a slight change of position in the frame! A good set nonetheless my Faves today could be V3 for the wonderful light
Thanks for your comment Ann - I have completely removed the detail of the greenery inside the curve in v1 and left it in v2, that's the difference
dont know why i think this but v1 has a very chinese zen feel about it nice work V1 wins for me Helen
Yes I think V1 Helen for it's simplicity.
Can't decide between V1 an V2 but good to see what's behind the arch in V3!
Ilove the orange on orange also.
You inspired me to take a few images with Crocosmia from my garden.
I'll upload at a later date.
Thanks Graham, Dan and Kate
Yes,V1 Helen without all the greenery !!
I prefer v1 for it's smoothness and oriental feeling, but I would have like to have seen more space above the arch as in v2.
V1 for me too Helen, a great shot of the crocosmia against that terracotta wall... lovely.
Thanks Joline and Mark
Loved the colours and shapes, well composed too.
V2, just to be awkward . I like the retracted detail, it's there but doesn't take away from the image. v1 is very stylised (Chinese almost, as already said), but the silver trunk gets in the way a bit. v3 is an excellent over/rear view.
This is superb Helen - the pure art of composition. I'm seeing Chinese styling in this too.
v1 definitely - it's a great composition.
Many thanks Carole, Dave, Moira and Ann for your comments
............and particular thanks Moira for your User Award - thrilled to bits to receive it
Gorgeous shot !!!.....so simple in content & layout, but so stunning to look at !!!....has a sort of 'Oriental' quality too !!
It's worthy of another UA......love it !!!
Many thanks Keith for the User Award - and I see that you have also saved it as a favourite - wow !!
I think V1 is the stronger composition Helen and I prefer the stronger colours as well.
Thanks Netta and Derek
An excellent comp - a good creative eye from what I see in V3 = a great abstract image - well done
Three nice images Helen, V2 for me, Peter..
Thanks Ray and Peter
V1 & V3 for me a very nice idea works well good luck, regards Leon.
Got your message OK !....see reply !
I think the 'Stop Delivery' just gives a chance to delete, before it's been read ?, but after it's been read the 'Stop Delivery' disappears, so it's
an indication that the message has been read.......blimey, that's confusing !.
V1 for me Helen. It's such a strong abstract, and orient inspired in appearance.
Thanks Keith and Malc
Good use of the silver birch and montbretia again, well created oriental pic.
