First of all a big thank you to mr. Woolybill for his User Award on my "Gulls & Tractor"; much appreciated!
Today's image was taken last Sunday on a bicycle ride through some small villages, where I found a small old church with a charming, rather run down interior.

Beautifully clean colour Rende and the LB has added a certain charm to the image.

Lovely rich tones brought out by the contrasting metals, plus delicious composition. The subject's simple lines encourage us to look immediately beyond at those sweeping curves.
Some aspects of Renaissance design are still unsurpassed!

Have a UA from the distaff side. I saw this over Bill's shoulder just now, it's wonderful. The visual marriage of elements... The organ pipes are like waves breaking softly against the stillness of the lamp.
Re my upload by the way - everything was moving! It took a lot of patience and 43 attempts. Even the tortoises were scuttling remarkably fast (for tortoises...)

All been said above Rende! A cracker and deserves a lot of votes.

I like that lamp shade Rende could you nick it for me
the detail you have picked up is great
Excellent Rende, love the composition and detail,
Fred.
I love the shape, lines and colours in the lamp shade, and the attractive way you have focused on it and composed this image.
A great capture and it makes a great image as well. Well done. Elaine
