About Me
I've been into photography for about 3 years and consider myself to be an advanced beginner, if that makes sense. I'm self taught and every passing week presents an opportunity to learn more about my hobby, one way or another. I try to shoot at least once a week, time permitting.
I'm keen to advance in both my practical and editing skills and have recently taken possession of a Canon 5D Mk1 in order to progress to the 'full frame' format. Lenses in my kit bag include a Canon 17-40L, 70-200 F4 and a 50mm F1.8 prime. Next purchase on my list will be the amazing Canon 24-70L F2.8 to round things off. I really miss the Sigma 10-20 F4.5 that I used to own when used with my 40D (now sold to make way for the 5D).
I love Landscape/Seascape photography but I'm also becoming more interested in other aspects, especially using strobes. I'm a big fan of black and white photography and find something romantic about this medium.
I'm extremely glad to have joined this site and look forward to viewing members' work.
