hey dan,

nice shot mate. good speed, composition, exposure and i really like the "letterbox" style crop.

couple of things that i can see are:

the leaves, or tree, along the top. probably a personal thing, but i reckon they don't do much for the shot.

second thing is, the decals on the car are very soft. i see you're using a 18-55mm lens, maybe this was too short for where you were?

your thoughts mate?

hey ads and rich, thanks for your comments. yeah i thought about loosing the leaves but i thought they added a speed element might try and photoshop them out and see what that looks like. Would love a longer lens but have no dosh at the mo, should have seen what the pros had there, camera envy!

I borrowed that 300 lens, should have asked for it this weekend too! damn it!

Hi Dan,

Know where you'r at I'm new to this motor sport stuff with a (poor box and lens) I've got to save for both.

Good effort,I do agree with ads about the leaves I couldn't stop following them
