The composition is simply awesome. You seem to have developed a certain style for these thought provoking and "dark, textural images" recently. Intriguing.

thanks all. yes mark, i've never had any training and i'm sure it shows. but i like learning and experimenting with new things. have always liked the way texture layers can bring out a mood, but unfortunately i don't have that much time and each image is usually less than an hour so it never really gets polished. if it goes over well i usually spend more time on it before the final print.
edit: mark, one thing i do all the time is photo interesting textures and elements that i can cut up and use in composits. i keep them in a folder and use them as overlays. with a little patience to find a good fit it is really not difficult at all. try it!
