Another one taken just after "Sundog" the lake went oh so still and calm as we waited for the sun to go down. Just standing there in the freezing cold, watching the changes was a wonderful sight, and it makes me feel so very small in this vast landscape. Thanks for the comments on Sundog - it is snowing here now, we have a good covering, so I will be staying in this weekend... Snow and ice are not my thing I only have to see it to fall over.....

Yes this is an amazing sight, which you have captured so well - snowing here too - I've been as far as the bottom of the garden to take photos - and no further for me either

One of your very nest, Linda: the air is so crisp and clear, the waters so still and the reflections so crisp. A beautifully composed image. Despite the cold I too could have stood there and taken in that view for ages, but I guess the light soon faded amd the picture would dissolve. But how good you managed to capture the beauty of the moment.
