Hi folks, it has been ages since my last visit to the site, it has been a bit hectic with visitors - parties - nights out etc, no time to pick up the computer ..... plus had our Granddaughter over to stay she is now 3 months - time goes so fast....
so this is back to January and my visit to snowdonia, as you can see it is not the best of landscapes, but I like like the reflections of the mts and snow against the dark slate mine to the left, and the tiny little white cottage which must have some amazing views sitting right at the end of the lake.
Thank you for taking the time to drop by, I will try to catch up a bit this week.

Good to see you again, Linda.
Like the comp, with the track from the slate leading into the middle of the image. The tiny white cottage gives scale to the view, and that dusting of icing sugar aka snow tops it perfectly.

Despite your mentioned reservations, Linda, you have composed the shot so well and although the lighting is perhaps rather stark, you have exposed the scene to perfection in my opinion. The sunlit f/g grasses contrast well with the more shadowed hillside beyond.
