Hi Barbara, These were at Staithes. We were planning to go to Bempton by the rain came in.

Corad - Yes, a road trip from Southampton to Portsmouth. There are some great places to photograph along the coast.

Thank you for your comments. I agree, the horizon is wonky. It's most embarrassing. I was concentrating on keeping the mast upright and failed to check the horizon.

I see the heavy snow didn't stop you from going then. A lovely photo.

This brilliant picture led me to look at your portfolio. You have some simple yet stunning photos. I really like your use of colour. I clicked quite a few but had to stop myself from clicking any more. I would have been clicking all day. You have a real talent. Wonderful work.

Snap. Here's one I took in Florence last year. It must be an Italian thing.

There are so many pictures of Whitby, it's lovely to find a new and original view. Great work.

Decay by Benalmon

Decay

A nice picture of disused industry and a nice conversion to mono. I like the sweep of the canal around the building. I took a similar picture about a month or two ago. The old Herbert Morris Works on the Loughborough canal.

Quayside

A lovely shot and a nice idea using the rope to lead in. We were on the Ventura last year and we are thinking of doing the central Med sometime. I look forward to seeing more of your cruise photos.

Romsdalfjord by nanpantanman

Romsdalfjord

I agree with you. It was taken from a moving ship, with a zoom lens, in low light and poor weather but I think it has tremendous atmosphere, which is why I posted it.

Thank you Nathan.

A beautiful picture. Maybe it would be worth a tighter crop, a little too much grass perhaps.

I went past this spot the other day and the tree has gone. Such a shame.

Barbara. About 10.30am I think. The Station was teeming with people. The cafe behind me was full. People were walking in front of me. I waited for just this one moment when everything was clear.

Nicely done. Unusual to get this side view of Wollaton Hall. It works well with the people in the foreground.

Sorry, I pressed the wrong button, it should have been a positive vote. I love the arrangement and the peaceful greens, and that little hint of stepping through into something secret.
