Sparrowhawk nearly caught me out, it flew in over the hedge low and fast and then decided to land on our fence and pose before heading off............

Given the unexpected nature of this shot I suppose it might be regarded as a "grab shot" which makes it all the more remarkable: excellent detail and colours, and captured in fine detail.
