Starling having some suet on this cold Autumn day..........GrinGrinGrin

Many thanks for all the comments and votes on the Female Blackbird I uploaded on the 16th Oct.............always appreciated......I love reading them all and lots of them make me smile..........SmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmile

Image taken today the 17th, really windy but being out in the sunshine made it worthwhile. Busy day with the birds, firstly disinfecting all the bird tables and bird baths, we do this on a very regular basis to try and keep the parasites away, we add Virkon 'S' to all the baths and water drinkers, we use Stalosan for disinfecting the poultry area and the bird areas where food is often dropped, not to be added to water.........SadSadSad

Using the above helps to keep the birds (especially Finches) free of parasites, we cannot control what they pick up on their travels, but prevention is better than the cure........it is important to keep our wildlife area as clean as possible, the wet weather this year has not helped the birds this year......but they are a tough lot........GrinGrinGrin

Another top notch shot Julia. And how brilliant to properly see the colour of the feet. I never realised they were red. Fantastic.
