Another almost discarded image which escaped the digital trash. This one was captured at my favourite Seaside Town of Brighton. This piece of work will be like a jar of Marmite to you all.
Thank you so very much for your wonderful and most appreciative comments in respect of yesterdays piece, I must say I was somewhat in awe, as I was expecting a really negative response on what I consider to be a whimsical entry.
REgards Nathan
P.S. I sincerely hope that you have a great day
P.P.S Before I forget, I muster thank the people who presented me wither their prestigious UA's and the GE awards which was a great surprise. I won't mention names, but they know who they are,

Visited Brighton Beach as a young Canadian sailor. Befriended Lottie Maxwell, bless her now in the USA. Got one and only tattoo, a steam engine. Holidays at a bed and breakfast where I became 'family'. Sang in the pub with strangers / instant friends. Love the place and the people there.
Nathan you have some of the carnival look here too. Theatre on the beach..et all. TG
Visited Nelson in Southampton too..of course.
Like the effect Nathan, Well captured and processed

Well Nathan it matters not which is best! what matters is your not a dull churner out of the same old thing day after day! so I applaud your constant efforts to entertain, instead of how wonderful am I, good luck to you and I can't wait to see what you come up with when you move, regards Leon.![]()

Good morning Nathan, two cracking images, V2 brings back memories of my childhood, spending many many days on Brighton beach
Leaving just as the sun was going down. V1 really is something special, as you say definitely a Marmite image, but I love Marmite
and I love this image, great processing, very well done ![]()
Hugh
I love what you have done nathan ...v1 for me , it looks awesome ![]()
This is why we are here today because we experiment and we try to make our photography interesting, you have achieved this Nathan, love V1.
Regards
Trev.
A well captured straight image in v2, Nathan. v1 is a fine piece of digital art, not merely trying to enhance the original.

I recall my first Guru, used to say no pic is bad, because somebody must have recorded it seeing its beauty. I often look my old negatives but find no time to make them alive again.
A cute modification made it more artistic.
A great bit of work, Nathan, it certainly brings the original shot to life ![]()

Good processing Nathan, as always like the intro info, the marmite reference was top draw. love it.

V2 is the one for me I might have made it more of a letterbox presentation and taken out some of the foreground but full marks for a great shot taken in low light something so far I have not yet achieved
I'm not usually in favour of over processed images, Nathan, but what you have done here in V 1 does seem appropriate for a seaside venue, especially for an image with a pier and it's amusements where everything is traditionally garish, brash and OTT with colour. So it's V 1 for me today.
Ronnie.
Two excellent images of Brighton Peir, v1 is a spectacular, colourful piece of manipulation where your creative talents and artistic flair have come to the fore
I Love this, lovely bright strip of colours but with a real moody feel to it. Nice work.
