Captured on the Isle of Grain near Kingsnorth Power-station. Not the prettiest of places to capture an image, although I found this one rather appealing.
Thank you for all your most flattering and most welcoming comments and votes following yesterdays upload.

Who could resist pointing the lens at sky like that, Nathan, no matter where you were: wonderful colour and the silhouettes of the power lines and pylon sitting starkly against it do make for a rather different sunrise/sunset to the norm, the bird adding an element of grace to whole scene.

I like this one Nathan. Your pictures always appeal to me with meaning.
Well done. WesternRed.
Fabulous shot Nathan, that sky is absolutely beautiful, love the title too

Appeals to me as well Nathan, really beautiful sky,
Fred.
Another beautiful shot from you Nathan - love the colours.

Strong colour and strong shapes, Nathan. I would maybe have cropped out the LH pylon and the top wire for a more simple composition but I think there are a few variations possible and from an aesthetic point of view the decision remains with you.

You've met me half-way with v2, Nathan, and i think you're right.

Wonderful simple image with beautiful colour and tone. V3 has it for me. ![]()

(The pylons look a little like landing lights. It's not a "two year old budgie" heading into Heathrow is it! ![]()

Excellent work again Nathan, I do feel V3 is the better one although the difference to V2 is very subtle. A lovely sky and the inclusion of the bird make this a cracker. (Hope you are well after your visit to the dentist, NOT my favourite place to visit).
Ray
A super colourful capture, Nathan, and with the added bonus of the bird, too! ![]()

Wonderful sky in your composition. The bird gives this the X-factor.

Gorgeous sky colours and a perfectly placed seagull make this image a winner
